We have gained access to the upstairs in the Lyceum for our Troop meetings. However, there are limits to how many people can be in the Lyceum, so we will require RSVPs to attend. Please let us know if you will attend in person or online via this form.

RSVP for a Patriotic Rosary and Flag Retirement Ceremony

Join the Knights of Columbus and other parish groups for a reciting of a patriotic Rosary, followed by a flag retirement ceremony. Troop 301 will lead the second decade. Field uniforms, please. Please RSVP via this form.

Troop Elections on Monday, October 26

Troop elections are coming up again. Since we cannot accommodate the entire troop in person, we'll again conduct them virtually. Scouts interested in a leadership position should indicate interest via the form below. If you're interested in running for Senior Patrol Leader or a Patrol Leader, please be prepared to make a presentation at our virtual April 27 meeting. Details on voting procedures will follow.

Please complete and return the required forms for volunteers and participants

Attached please find some forms that the diocese has asked parents and volunteers to complete. Descriptions are below. Please complete and return the appropriate forms to Mr. Scheeler.
 
Adults, please be sure your Youth Protection Training (also required for adult volunteers) is current.
 
The first document is the “Arlington Diocese Waiver Youth Ministry”. This is an additional document, created in response to COVID-19, that parents must complete for every youth participating in a Scouting organization this year. Parents must complete one form for regular events and an additional form for every special event.

Then, there is the “Parish Volunteer Release of Liability Form” that every volunteer must sign, including Scouting leadership.

Troop 301 Guidance for Participating in In-Person Events

The leadership of Troop 301 has prepared the following guidelines for resuming in-person activities. At present, our plans include only outdoor gatherings. We will continue to monitor guidance from government authorities, public health agencies, our chartering organization, and the BSA, and will communicate any adjustments as necessary.
